The Winona Farmers Market is held year-round!
Summer markets begin the first Saturday of May and continue until the last Saturday in October. Summer market hours are 7:30am to 12:00pm.
Winter markets have reduced hours – 9:00am to 12:00pm – on alternating Saturdays during the months of November through April. Check out our social media pages (Facebook or Instagram) for the most current information about Winter Market dates this season.
The Winona Farmers Market is located at Levee Park (2nd and Main St) during the summer season which begins the first Saturday of May and continues until the last Saturday in October.
During our winter season, we move to an alternative indoor location. This year, we are at the Morrison Annex Event Center (363 E. 2nd St). Winter markets are held on alternating weeks (every other Saturday) during the months of November through April. Check our social media channels (Facebook or Instagram) for the most up-to-date information on winter market dates.
On-street parking is available at both the outdoor and indoor market locations. Next to Levee Park are several adjacent city parking lots for additional parking during the summer season. At the Morrison Annex Event Center, there is a large parking lot behind the building which customers may use on market Saturdays in the winter season.
The only pets allowed at market are service animals. Any other pets are not allowed in the main shopping area of the market. If you would like to bring your pet down to the market, they must remain on the outside sidewalks in front of the Levee Park entrance, across the railroad tracks at the top of the Levee viewing area / park area near the river or near the entrance to the parking area. Pets are not allowed in the main shopping area of the market.
A few of our vendors have their own machines and are able to process your credit or debit card at their individual stalls. You can also stop at our Market Manager’s tent and can use your debit / credit card to get market tokens which you can use like cash to make purchases from all vendors. Stop at the Market Manager’s tent for more information.
The Winona Farmers Market does not have an ATM/cash machine. However, we have a card reader that can exchange your debit/credit card for tokens to be spent at market. Stop by the Coordinator’s Booth for more information.
The Winona Farmers Market accepts EBT/SNAP benefits. EBT/SNAP customers can also receive extra benefits when they spend $10 at the market. Stop by the Market Manager’s Booth on Saturdays to find out more.
Yes. Both of our outdoor and indoor market locations are wheelchair accessible.
The Winona Farmers Market has several certified organic farms. We also have vendors who grow using organic methods but do not have specific organic certification. Ask our farmers about their growing practices if this is important to you. They are happy to answer.
If you are interested in becoming a Friend of the Market and would like to help out at markets or fundraising events, please email our market manager at winonafarmersmarket@gmail.com for more information.
